Feb. 3, 1937 - Sep. 5, 2026

HEYBURN – Albert J. Brassfield, 89, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Twin Falls Transitional Care of Cascadia.

Albert Junior Brassfield was born February 3, 1937, in Midland Arkansas, to Elmer and Dortha Brassfield. He had two brothers and three sisters. Al loved camping, and fishing. He went fishing barefoot at a very young age with his older brother Gene, and his uncle Doc. They loved to run through the woods, surrounded by cottonmouth snakes all around them, as they headed to the river. He loved visiting his grandmother Nanu, and his uncle Doc. Al had three sons.

In 2000, Al met a red head with nice long legs named Kay. He married Kay and spent the rest of his life by her side. He always felt that God had brought them together because they shared everything in common with one another. Al was a brick mason most of his life until he retired. He then opened up Kasota Auto Sales alongside his wife Kay. He sold cars, and Kay did all of the paperwork, making a wonderful team that was very successful.

Al was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Dortha; his son Kelly, his brother, Gene, and his sister, Ruby. He is survived by his wife, Kay; sons, Travis and Kevin Brassfield, his brother Willard, and sisters, Geral and Faye. Granddaughters, Lauren, Megan (Travis) Wise, Bristol Cummings, and Mikayla (Tevin) Leyba, grandsons, Kyle (Sanomi) Brassfield, Randy and Ryan Cummings, great-granddaughters, Cheyenne, Taylin, Kamari, and Keyonna. As well as two great-grandsons, Wyatt and Tyran.
